Army warrant officer arrested for child-related crimes

An Army warrant officer, in Alabama, was arrested for raping a child last week.

Warrant Officer-1 Juan Salvador Guillen-Mondragon, 36, was arrested on August 30th, according to the Enterprise Police Department.

The investigation into his alleged sexual crime with a minor was conducted by the Enterprise Police Department and Fort Novosel (former Fort Rucker) Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID).

“On August 27, 2024, the Enterprise Police Department initiated a criminal investigation into allegations of an unlawful sex act involving a minor,” the Enterprise Police Department said in a statement on September 3rd.

Mondragon was transported to the Coffee County Jail after arrest.

He has been charged with Facilitating the Travel of a Child for an Unlawful Sex Act and Rape 2nd.

Enterprise Police Department confirmed Guillen-Mondragon being assigned to Fort Novosel but the Army installation has yet to release a statement.
