Man in white polo smokes Ludacris and an entire group of military police

Summertime brings about such fond memories of training in the extreme heat and mosquitos sucking your blood dry.

But hey, when the 4th of July comes around, there are always some not mandatory fun activities planned on post.

This year, Fort Campbell held, what was hyped by one person as “the dopest Fourth of July act Fort Campbell, a concert featuring performers Ludacris and Echosmith.

Despite its sponsors being from the most predatory business for soldiers, such as a personal injury lawyer and a car dealership, it seemed the Fort Cambell MWR did a great job putting it together.

But a Fort Cambell MWR video featuring Ludacris and military police soldiers, posted on July 5th, had its comments turned off after numerous comments were made for some reason.

“Ludacris invited some of our MPs to join him in a push-up challenge! Check it out!” the MWR Facebook page said.

People were quick to point out in the comments that only one person seemed to be doing push-ups to the standard, a gentleman wearing a white polo and shorts.

Many cut the military police, who were wearing their duty vests and weapons, some slack due to the extra weight but Ludacris and the others were far from doing what the Army would consider a push-up.

So…who was the mystery man in civilian clothes making everyone look bad, seemingly leading to the MWR turning off the comments after others took notice?

No other than the Garrison Sergeant Major, CSM Chad E. W. Stackpole!

The Infantryman who joined in 1998 took over the position at Fort Campbell in February of 2023 and is well-liked by almost any soldier you ask.

CSM Stackpole (U.S. Army Fort Campbell)

“To our team within the garrison … I will work diligently to gain your trust,” he said during his assumption of responsibility ceremony. “I am an advocate for you and the services you provide our Soldiers, Families, and civilians. Know that my door is always open for you, and do not hesitate to share your issues or frustrations when I visit your workplace. I am here to assist and bridge the gap to resolve problems on behalf of Col. Jordan and our Senior Commander Maj. Gen. JP McGee.”

What’s also very clear from the video, is he knows how to set the standard physically and even let a well-passed-his-moment-in-the-spotlight celebrity think he beat the soldiers.
