Court records confirm the arrest of a soldier in Colorado after reports of him being involved with soliciting minors to engage in illegal sexual activity.
Disturbing footage of a Colorado child predator hunting group confronting Army Spc. Brandon “Ate Up” Storey, an active-duty soldier, was released earlier this month.
Spc. Storey allegedly used his military status as a gateway to gain the trust of minors, according to an admin of a Colorado Ped Patrol Facebook page.
He allegedly infiltrated numerous teen groups online, initiating conversations that quickly turned explicit. His behavior escalated to an appalling level when he boasted to a decoy posing as an 11-year-old about past abuse involving his stepsister.
When confronted by police, Storey’s behavior became erratic. He demanded the return of his phone and attempted to retrieve it from an officer’s car, an action that resulted in his immediate restraint.
This incident may add another charge to the growing list against him.
This week, the Colorado Judicial Branch scheduled his arraignment for next month.
According to El Paso County docket records, he is to be arraigned at 10:00 AM on January 22, 2025, on unspecified charges.
The Salty Soldier reached out to Fort Carson for more information about Specialist Storey’s duty status and service and is awaiting a response.
