President Joe Biden has been accused of mistreating the relatives of the Marines killed during the 2021 Kabul airport attack in Afghanistan.

He allegedly kept the grieving relatives waiting for hours while he napped on Air Force One before a dignified transfer of the fallen servicemembers’ bodies to their families, according to multiple military families who spoke with the Daily Mail.

The allegations have reignited concerns over the Biden administration’s handling of the President’s health and decision-making capabilities. Critics are calling for an investigation into what they allege is a pattern of obfuscation surrounding his fitness for office.

Christy Shamblin, the mother-in-law of Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee, and Darin Hoover, the father of Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, who were killed in the Kabul blast, recounted the experience of being left waiting on the tarmac.

“We sat in that office for what seemed like an eternity waiting on the doddering old fool,” Hoover told the Daily Mail.

Roice McCollum, the sister of Rylee McCollum, another Marine who died during the withdrawal, made similar claims.

“(Biden) made us wait an extra three hours to receive the bodies of our dead family members because he couldn’t pull it together,” McCollum said. “[Biden] was far beyond a position where he should have been in office, but the powers that be covered it up. We were left in the dark—worse than that, we were blatantly lied to.”

The White House has categorically denied the families’ accusations.

A spokesperson told the Daily Mail: “That claim is untrue. As President Biden said on the 4th anniversary of the tragic attack on Abbey Gate and in the letters he wrote to family members after meeting with them in Dover, ‘these 13 Americans—and the many more that were wounded—were patriots in the highest sense,’ and ‘we owe them and their families a sacred debt we will never be able to fully repay, but will never cease working to fulfill.’”

The spokesperson added: “The President honors these families, who have given more to their nation than anyone ever could, and holds them in the highest regard.”

Darin Hoover, however, remains unconvinced that Biden is capable of effectively serving as Commander-in-Chief.

“Biden is just a figurehead, and everyone has been covering for him,” Hoover stated. “They should all be jailed for this! I fully believe our kids would still be here had it not been for the stumbling, bumbling old fool occupying the White House.”

He continued: “The blood of our 13 and those 45 wounded in that bombing, along with 170 injured, is on the hands of Biden.”

In 2022, Hoover described his son as a hero who helped his fellow Marines up until the moment he died.

When Staff Sgt. Darin Taylor Hoover, who went by his middle name, Taylor was dying from his injuries, he still managed to reach in his vest and hand out ammo to his fellow Marines.

“He cared about his men more than he did himself,” Taylor’s father, Darin Hoover, told Fox News. “If that isn’t the definition of a true warrior, I don’t know what is.”
