Soldier busted during Army Combat Fitness Test

With the prevalence of AI and the thousands, if not millions of fake social media accounts, it’s almost impossible to know what is real and what is not on the internet.

For example, last week another Army video made its rounds across social media on numerous accounts which all claimed to show something different.

The video shows a soldier prepared to take part in the push-up portion of the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) when a non-commissioned officer supervising the event notices him with a cigarette in his mouth.

On one YouTube account, the video is captioned, “Bro wanted to prank them 💀,” and claims the Army NCO is a drill sergeant.

“Army drill sergeant reaction is priceless,” the video description says.

A TikTok account that posted the video claimed the event took place at Fort Bragg and captioned the video with, “Bro is lucky to be alive.”

All of the information provided by these accounts is false and The Salty Soldier was able to determine the original video was taken down.

The soldiers in the video are part of the Indiana National Guard’s 76th Infantry Brigade “Nighthawks.”

The brigade is headquartered at the Lawrence Readiness Training Center, in Lawrence, Indiana.

The brigade is comprised of three Infantry battalions, a Cavalry Squadron, an Engineer battalion, a Field Artillery battalion, and a support battalion.
