Soldier who died in undisclosed location was only deployed for roughly 60 days
The Department of Defense announced today the death of an Indiana Army National Guard soldier who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Capt. Eric Richard Hart, 34, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died on Dec. 28, 2024, in Iraq as a result of a non-combat-related incident. The incident is under investigation.
