A Fort Hood soldier assigned to the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command was arrested by the Killeen Police Department and booked into the Bell County Jail on charges involving assault of a pregnant person and unlawful restraint, according to Bell County inmate and court records.
Bell County records identify the soldier as 22-year-old Specialist Lamontavious Keshon Cradic of Killeen, Texas. Jail records show Cradic was booked on April 29, 2026, and held on a combined bond amount of $80,000.
Court records show Cradic is facing a felony charge for assault of a pregnant person along with a misdemeanor charge tied to the alleged incident.
The cases remain active, with court filings over the past several days including complaints, affidavits, bond conditions, and arrest-related documentation.
Fort Hood officials confirmed Cradic’s military status in a statement provided to The Salty Soldier.
“Fort Hood officials can confirm that a Fort Hood soldier was arrested. Spc. Lamontavious Keyshon Cradic is a transportation management coordinator currently assigned to the 13th Armored Corps Sustainment Command at Fort Hood. His time of active service is 5 years 2 months. Fort Hood is fully cooperating with local law enforcement.”
According to inmate records, Cradic was arrested by the Killeen Police Department and remains tied to two separate Bell County criminal cases stemming from the alleged April 27, 2026 incident.
The Salty Soldier has also submitted requests for additional information regarding the alleged incident and is awaiting a response from local authorities.
As with all criminal cases, the charges against Cradic are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
